YAF Tax Status in the USA

The Yunnan America Foundation (YAF) was formed in 2002 to promote good will between China and USA through education projects.
The YAF is exempt from the USA federal income tax under section 501(A) of the Internal Revenue Code as an organization described in section 501 (C) (3).
The YAF is a Nonstock Corporation under Chapter 181 of the Wisconsin Statutes, repealed and recreated by the 1997 Wisconsin Tax Act 79.
Each donor will receive a receipt for claiming USA tax exemption.
